A Grade II Listed dwelling originally Grooms accommodation and stables set high along the walled margins of Lewes Castle.
The service accommodation was poorly arranged with shower room and small entrance lobby between kitchen and dining room.
We opened up the whole stables range to give it an impressive volume and inserted a large new handmade kitchen and utility room.
7 bedroom Country House refurbishment with 2 new extensions forming a contemporary glazed accommodation wing linking to 17m x 5m indoor swimming pool & gymnasium.
Rear 2 storey extension with oriel window to traditional urban dwelling in Bexhill.
The property lacked definition at the rear and the extension was designed to take advantage of the views down the long garden from the new bedroom suite.
Barnfield Gardens is very unusual for Ditchling (or anywhere in the SDNP for that matter) as it forms a modern example of domestic urban estate architecture usually seen on urban fringes.
This is a 1930s estate of Estate of 6 mock Tudor dwellings all with timber appliqu grouped around a small village green on the edge of the downland countryside (SDNP).
Conversion & refurbishment of substantial upper storey to one wing of an H plan Grade II listed school building.
Previously dormitory and service accommmodation, converted to high tech classrooms with full audio, visual and computer installation.
Extensive remedial works required, contractor Comber & Sons.
The governors of this delightful village Primary school asked us to extend the building to provide a new classroom for pre-school children.
We all concluded after some investigation that the extension should be seamless continuation of the main Victorian range utilising underfloor heating, which was a great success.
