Iden Design has been set up by Brian Fishenden, an Architectural Designer and Construction Project Manager, with more than 40 years experience in architecture, with both small and large Architectural practices.

Services
Pear Tree House is a 6 bedroom detached dwelling, arranged over 4 floors sitting in the heart of the Kent countryside.
The house sits on a 3 acre plot and replaced a dilapidated cottage on the site.
The brief was to deliver a traditional Kentish farm house giving ample accommodation for a family and visitors.
The siting and orientation of the house takes best advantage of the views over the gardens and adjoining fields and woodland.
Construction is timber framed, clad in brick and tile hanging under a plain tiled roof.

We wanted to create a traditional farmhouse look to replace the old cottage on the site.
Brian gave us some initial sketches to give us a feel for what we were trying to achieve.
We gave him a wish list and he came up with the overall design and layout.
The end result was a fabulous house with great spaces and Brian's solution to the garden room, cut into the back of the house, was an inspired piece of architecture.
It was a pleasure to work with Brian on our extension and we found him to be a very pleasant individual whose ideas and drawings enabled us to achieve the end result that we desired.
