ES Architecture is a Watford based RIBA Chartered architectural design practice offering an extensive range of bespoke architectural services. ES Architecture's philosophy is to design buildings which meet our client's needs and keep this at the forefront of the design process. Operating since 2014, ES Architecture has grown as an established and well recognised and successful architecture practice.
We are full of energy, passion, and are forward-thinking, having managed large-scale projects to completion across Watford, Three Rivers, Hillingdon, St Albans, Harrow and further afield. The practice is led by Edward Seaman and offers a range of design services to suit the needs of the client. We offer design services for a range of projects, including residential extensions and refurbishments to commercial projects and contemporary new build houses.
We believe in creating buildings which use exceptional design principles to best utilise the available space, light and surroundings. We are established on the principal that building spaces should be enjoyed, and that we should feel connected and uplifted by our surroundings.

We understand that it can be difficult for clients to fully visualise their finished design once built when only relying on two-dimensional drawings.
Therefore, in some of our most recent projects, we have showcased 3D modelling using Virtual Reality software to help our clients fully envisage the finished design.
Clients have found that this technology has really helped when making decisions regarding design, structure and layout.
This has facilitated improved efficiency and progress through the planning stages.

This Northwood based project focused on designing a double storey rear extension with interior alterations to a period property.
The design carefully creates a space which offers a modern and sophisticated space encompassing a new kitchen, living, dining area and bathrooms.
It aims to harmoniously blend into the existing property and was designed to offer as much natural light as possible to the client.

On this project we extended the existing dwelling in keeping with the original style of architecture.
The existing building was a small derelict 2-bedroom property.
The site was cleared and planning was granted for a new build house alongside the existing conversion.
The conversion maintained the style of the existing building with reclaimed bricks to give the impression that the extension had always been there.
Cladding was used in the middle section to separate the old from the new.
As the existing property had low ceiling heights our designs raised the existing ground floor and removed the upper floor roof trusses to give a vaulted ceiling throughout the first floor.
