Services
The Manor House Residential Home, lies within its own walled grounds on Beckspool Road, Frenchay, Bristol, The site has an area of about 1.7 Ha, and accommodates a group of long established residential homes for the care of people with learning disabilities, many of whom have profound physical disabilities and complex health problems.
The Manor House is the principle building on site and dates from 1736.
It is a fine three storey house built of Bath stone in the Palladian style, and is a Grade 2 listed building.
The Sir Bernard Lovell School is a fully comprehensive 11-19 co-educational school to the east of Bristol.
For over a decade Curtis Cryer Architects have worked with the school to improve and extend their facilities, including the Giotto Main Entrance, Administration and Arts Block, Technology Extension, Kitchen refurbishment, Post 16 Centre, Learning Hub, all weather sports surfaces and Sports Centre.
Always on a tight budget, we have worked closely with the school to create stimulating work spaces using quality materials which will stand up to a challenging environment.
