Following approval of a certificate of lawful use for an existing holiday letting unit, Planning was submitted for the change of use to full residential use, with a large two-storey extension to provide a new enlarged family home.
The application was initially refused by Cornwall Council, for which we submitted an appeal to the planning inspectorate and had the decision overturned.
Following which we re-submitted the original design under a further application to retain the existing holiday cottage as an annexe and construct this replacement dwelling.

We were appointed in 2019 to redesign a residential plot with existing permission to construct a large detached family home, The new design brief was for a more traditional family home to suit the client's needs on a much smaller scale than the approved dwelling.
The planning application for a Section 73 amendment to the previous approval was submitted and approved.

Following the purchase of this creek side detached property in Restronguet Point, we were appointed by the new owners to design a Ground Floor rear extension to the existing rear terrace to create further living accommodation, whilst maximising the beautiful elevated views.
