Reform Architecture
Reform Architecture was established in 2001 to provide an architectural design service to it's clients and fellow consultants covering a range of Conservation design issues, from dealing with Listed Buildings and traditional methods of building, through to Energy Conservation and intergration of appropriate low energy use technologies and materials.

From here, Reform Architecture has naturally progressed into affliated areas of design including building recycling, redevelopment and enhancment, including bespoke Architectural design and the use of 'cutting edge' materials and technology, often in a minimalist way, to meet exacting standards and any budgetary constraints. One of the key strengths of the practice is the careful & methodical appraisal of the building, it's layout, it's performance and to enhance and maximise all aspects of the design and layout.

Our inspiration is to impress and amaze both our clients and those who visit and use the buildings we design. We do this in a responsible way with the user always in mind and strive to find elegant solutions in the process, regardless of the scale or complexity of the project.
Services
Reform Architecture was established by Philip Tann BA (Hons) Dip Arch RIBA in 2001, he is a member of and registered with, both the Architects Registaration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Both organisations have codes of conduct which require high professional standards to be maintained and these are at the forefront of the ethos to which the practice aspires.
The practice is enthusiastic and has a wide experiece in various fields and genres of design and has consistently focused on all areas of conservation (both energy and historic building related) since its formation, but above all it treats all the work it deals with in a highly professional and responsible manner.
Reform Architecture for 'Transforming Space & Exploring New Concepts' within Buckinghamshire.
Our design approach is to develop the design concept in close relation with our client and to provide a creative, bespoke solution that not only meets their individual expectations but invaraibly exceeds them by introducing alternative, but relevant, ideas which add value, quality and inspiration.
This can be in a modern and contemporary way or we can use references from the past, incuding historical architectural styles and traditional materials and construction techniques to great effect.
Our measured building surveys are undertaken with great care to ensure accuracy, this helps to ensure any designed alterations are achievable on site without alteration and without unnecessary problems occuring due to setting out errors, which can otherwise lead to delay and additional cost to the Building Contract.
Where there is uncertainty about a project, for whatever reason, then it may be important to undertake preliminary research to provide answers to avoid any doubt prior to starting the design process.
