KTD was founded in 1996, by chartered architect Kath Thomson, after gaining experience working as a project architect for a number of years in offices in the UK and abroad. More recently, Kath's husband Dougie has become a partner in the business, bringing his own skills as a chartered architect with many years experience working in various sectors of the industry.
All projects are led by Kath, in collaboration with Dougie, associate architects, designers and other consultants as necessary, depending on the size of the job. We have a proven track record of delivering tailor made and innovative Architecture and Interior Design solutions, with many ongoing relationships with clients. Each project is approached with consideration to the specifics of the location, site and of the environment.
