Bankhead Design are a small Architectural Design Studio based in Neath, South Wales. The company was set up by Kevin Bankhead after many years working in the commercial design industry in London and overseas. Kevin is an award winning designer and has extensive experience in the Commercial Design Industry.
He was a senior member of the Design team responsible for the Interior Design of the Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff, South Wales and more recently has been heavily involved with the design & implementation of many residential refurbishments & extensions.Our ability to easily understand the client brief and quickly translate their requirements into three dimensions in sketch form is one of our key strengths.

A measured survey will then be carried out of the existing property and plans drawn up digitally on CAD.
Using our experience & knowledge we will produce Sketch design proposals which could be a combination of freehand line drawings, 3d sketches & photographic imagery.
Once the design scheme has been approved detail design drawings will be produced for builders to provide cost estimates of your project.
Should your project require planning permission we can do this for you or alternatively you can do this yourself.

The Wales Millenium Centre in its short existence has become a Welsh Cultural Icon.
Kevin Bankhead was a senior member of the design team at Capita Percy Thomas Architects and was responsible for delivering interior design proposals for many key areas including all Front of house public bars, wcs, main reception & stage door entrance.
The building has since won many awards including the FX International Design Award for "Best Entertainment Venue".

Bankhead Design were appointed to provide design assistance for the furniture space planning & main bar design development for the Tiny Rebel brewery bar in Newport, South Wales.
We produced detail design drawings based upon the clients ideas that were used for the bar to be manufactured and costed.
