Tom established Tom Black Architects in 2011, having previously worked in professional architectural practice for over ten years. During his time in commercial architectural practice working as a project architect, Tom worked on a broad range of high profile architectural commissions from large school projects, to social housing projects, from hi-spec office refurbishments to large sports stadia.
Tom was also employed as project architect on a complex mixed use development which forms a key component of the prestigious Liverpool one development. Tom founded Tom Black Architects, undertaking domestic home extensions, loft conversions and whole house refurbishments for private domestic clients and property developers. Since its inception, Tom has grown the business and has undertaken commercial architectural commissions for large well-known companies.
Recent expansion has also seen Tom Black Architects move into new areas of work such as developments on listed buildings, work for housing associations and work in the hospitality sector.
