Oundle Architecture is a small architectural design and planning consultancy established in 2012 to deliver a wide range of architectural services for clients who want to transform their property. Oundle Architecture specialises in residential projects for home owners who want to extend and/or rearrange their accommodation or convert their loft space to make their home work better for their family's changing needs.

Our top priority is to exceed client expectations. We understand that every client is different and their needs and wants reflect this; some engage us for a full service while others just want a little help with planning permission. Through our modern-thinking 'menu' approach for pricing architectural and planning services, we structure our offering and our fees to provide all the help our clients need without charging for services they neither want nor need.

Oundle Architecture is led by Joe Croser, an experienced designer who completed architectural studies at Oxford's School of Architecture and postgraduate research into historic buildings at University of Cambridge.

We are located just outside Oundle in East Northamptonshire and provide architectural services to help home owners extend and remodel.
With listed building and conservation area experience we are well placed to help develop preferred designs, secure permissions from planning and building control, and agree the right construction price with a trusted builder.
Stage One attracts no fee and enables all parties to properly assess the feasibility of the desired development.
Advise on the need for statutory permissions such as Planning Permission, Building Regulations, Party Wall Agreements, etc.
Discuss the range of services to be provided by Oundle Architecture and agree consulting fees for the desired stages.
Oundle Architecture fees agreed at this stage are fixed but remain subject to change if the brief changes.
Stage Two is intended to accurately record the current size of the property so that design options can be explored and scheme drawings can be produced for planning and building regulations submissions.
The Croft is located on Church Hill in Barnwell surrounded by almost one hectare of paddock/rough pasture.
The current property was built in the late 1950's / early 1960's and had been extended unsympathetically on two or more occasions prior to this project.
Our designs transform this family home and provide new and valuable flexibility throughout via large open plan spaces with direct garden access.
Swan Close is located in the market town of Thrapston and is bounded by agricultural fields to the rear, and by neighbouring properties to either side.
Oundle Architecture is based in Barnwell just outside Oundle, an historic English market town in East Northamptonshire.
We work from our rural design studio and we service clients across a broad area from Market Harborough in the west to Peterborough in the east; from Wansford in the north to Kimbolton in the south, and all of the many towns and villages in between.
