Coulson Swinburne & Partners was established in 1968 by Jim Coulson and Brian Swinburne, both graduates of Newcastle University. Will Moses, a graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, previously with Faulknerbrowns and Jowett Buckley and Curry, joined as a Partner in 1996. Neil Atkinson started his career at Jowett Buckley and Curry in 1986 acquiring sole ownership in 2005 and re-naming the Practice JBC Associates.
Neil and Will began to collaborate on projects and the two Practices merged in 2007 as CSM+Architects, expanding in 2011 to include a branch office in North Yorkshire.

The restoration of Grade II Listed Totteridge Park has taken just over two years in planning and build.
Project Manager Hilary Scott of Lifehouse Projects said the team behind the restoration have realised our vision of recreating this iconic, landmark building, featuring a wealth of original features.
The project was led by architect, Will Moses of CSM+Architects.
The work is of the highest quality.
This is clear in every detail you see, from the beautifully restored decorative plaster work to the solid pewter ironmongery and the magnificent period fireplaces.
