The scheme is a new mixed use development for housing and flexible workplace, which maximises the economic potential of the site and provides commercial space along with a range of dwellings on a constrained and controversial site within Stoke Newington.
It provides new public space while respecting the Listed park behind and other surrounding listed buildings.
International jury member Andreas Ruby said that: 'I think this is an amazing project, because it's both an urban design statement as well as an architectural design.

The College has worked in the past with Belsize Architects on an award winning contemporary design to replace a listed boathouse on a very sensitive site on the Isis.
This followed an invited competition organized by the College.
More recently Belsize Architects have been retained by the College for the design of a new breed of student accommodation for a complex in the conservation area of residential North Oxford.
