In 1958, Lawrence Bader and Edward Miller founded Bader Miller in High Holborn, London and following the addition of further partners developed it into the Bader Miller Davis Partnership. The name was subsequently changed to bmd Architects and the Practice went from strength to strength as it attracted numerous major Clients. Although both founding partners are now retired, the Practice is still thriving in London in one of the converted Royal Arsenal buildings in historic Woolwich.
We continue to regard our Clients requirements as the focus of our design development ensuring that the building not only works as a form but works as an environment. Our basic premise is that a building should be easy to build, economical to construct, efficient to heat and maintain and yet be aesthetically pleasing to both the building user and public at large.
