Wallis Building Designs
We are a building design consultancy with a difference, merging inspirational design and practical solutions with a level of precision that delivers the highest standard of work. Renovating your home is about more than changing the physical structure, it's about creating new space that works with your lifestyle. We work with you to fully understand your requirements, and consider a range of solutions until we find the perfect one for you.

Commercial building design needs to offer maximum performance for your business, reflect the ethos of the company and create an enjoyable yet practical environment for your staff and customers alike. We apply a level of precision in planning and design that ensures projects deliver on time and within budget. Leaving you to concentrate your time and efforts into your business.

Developing listed buildings and conservation areas need to be treated with knowledge and sensitivity. The existing building form needs to be retained for historical interest, at the same time achieving a flow for the proposed use.
Services
After working for some of the largest architects firms, engineering companies and developers in the North West, I noticed an opportunity to create an architectural practice that combined this unique combination of experience.
Offering a level of detail and expertise along with a personalised service that only I could offer.
I decided to launch WBD.
First and foremost we pride ourselves on providing perfect architectural solutions to homes and businesses throughout the country.
What makes us different is the level of detail we go into.
Our process is built on precision and detailed planning, to deliver an unrivalled, yet cost effective architectural solution.
Here we explored various building forms at sketch level with the client, before progressing the preferred option through to planning stages.
This sketch worked well from this angle but not others and the floor area could not accommodate the number of rooms the brief required with a satisfactory area.
This option looked good on plan, however it deviates too far from the pre-existing property foot print so progressing / elevating this was inappropriate.
