Tom is a sole trader architect based in Exeter, Devon. The practice was set up in 2013 with an aim to develop responsive architecture, through a close understanding of client users, their lifestyle and needs. The practice focuses on private residential work, but occasionally takes on commercial or developer work. Tom's own objectives for the practice are to spend time with clients and develop professional, lasting relationships to ensure that, together they are able to deliver new spaces tailor-made for their use.
Straightforward and efficient solutions constructed with quality raw materials, simply combined, ensure that elegant proposals are possible for all budgets. I'm so glad that we had Toms help and the result we've got is fantastic. Tom spotted ways in which we could use space that I had not realised before, and came up with many ideas which challenged what I had originally planned.
His suggestions were always pragmatic, sensible and he found several ways for us to save money by making cost effective tweaks to the design.

A blog post discussed briefly if you need an architect and what they can offer to a project.
This post focuses more upon their output.
E.g. what do you get from them, both physically and intellectually.
Much of the 'product' is tied up in experience, guidance and design development.
The final few drawings could seem underwhelming to someone who has not experienced the added value an architect can bring.
They represent days worth of measuring, listening, eliminating, design development, honing and technical know-how.

Feel free to contact me through any of these channels regarding any questions or enquiries.
I am more than willing to chat through any projects you may be considering or queries that you may have.
Typically after an initial email or phone call I'll come round to visit you free-of-charge at your home or site to discuss further and for you to have a chance meet me in person before any form of commitment.
I need your name and reply contact in order to respond, on top of that its useful to include information such as the site address, the sort of thing you are looking for, the sort of thing you like (contemporary/traditional/robust/glassy/respectful/wild etc etc) if its an existing building the rough age of the building.
