Prestige Projects Management are local experts in planning advice and architectural services. We are an established company with over 20 years experience in the building, planning and architectural services sector. We design and plan quality new build projects, domestic extensions, conservatories and other home improvements in the Home Counties area, predominantly Dacorum, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

Our expert team of planners and architectural technicians provide architectural services to handle the project from conception, through the planning process and design phase. When we have created the design of your dreams we arrange the build with one of our recommended building contractors. We offer a planning advice service to help you through the processes of getting planning permission and meeting building regulations.

If you have a large plot of land which you would like to maximise then Prestige can visit the site and offer planning advice on how to make the most of the land.

Our architectural services team provides a professional service from concept of designs through to Building Regulations approval.
Using state of the art 3D imaging software we can provide you with a three dimensional image of your project and even a walk through showing the space in all seasons and times of day.
Our many years of experience in the local area has provided us with good relationships with all of the local planning offices.
The path to reaching approval for plans is not always a smooth one but we are resilient and will work with both the client and the planning office until a design is found that meets all criteria.

This project was to extend over an existing triple garage to create a large space for our clients preferred use.
The design was created to blend sympathetically with the existing building and we introduced a builder who ensured that the materials used all blended seamlessly with the original building.

Since 2006, applicants must submit with their applications for planning and listed building consent a Design and Access Statement.
Householder developments: but statements are required if the property is located within a Conservation Area.
Design and Access statements are documents that explain the design thinking behind an application, to show that the applicant has thought carefully about how everyone, including disabled people, older people and young children will be able to use the places they want to build.

However, as a rule the following applies.
Most new buildings or major changes to existing buildings or to the local environment need consent - known as planning permission.
Obtaining planning permission approval is a separate matter from building regulations approval.
Similarly, receiving any planning permission which your work may require is not the same as taking action to ensure that it complies with the building regulations.
