Welcome to Ken Morgan Architects, Ken initially set up in private Architectural Practice in 1976. The Architectural Studio is at Narberth, Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Value for money is a prime consideration which our close-knit team is committed to deliver to our clients.

Disability Access Audits for compliance with The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Building Regulations. The client portfolio includes Medical Practices, Banks, Local and County Councils, Housing Associations, The Welsh Development Agency, The Forestry Commission, Associated British Ports, Brewery companies and the American-owned company Masco.

May we express our sincere thank to you, Simon and the team for your professionalism and for the outstanding changes you have designed for our family home. Thank you also for the beautiful bouquet of flowers which lent a very special touch to the finalisation of the project.
Services
We do not charge for an initial consultation either in our office or at the client's site.
Once the client's brief is established we can quote fees on a fixed fee basis for a limited service or on a percentage fee scale to be agreed for a full service.
The latter would normally include monitoring the building construction and providing certification on completion.
In our experience we can normally save the client money by achieving a good design built to an agreed budget using the competitive tender process.
From the Narberth location Ken Morgan has travelled as far North as Manchester working for Manchester University.
The project involved the creation of a tourist information centre for the Arboretum at Jodrell Bank.
In the East, at Swindon a new factory was designed and built for Biomet, manufacturers of orthopaedic prostheses, involving clinically sterile facilities.
This was the third project carried out for Biomet.
Further East in London at Ladbroke Grove, Kensington, we obtained planning approval for residential apartments.
Housing projects range from one-off new-builds for private clients to housing estates for building developers.
Ken Morgan was also involved in the creation of a new village of 50 houses, a community centre and doctor's surgery in a forest on the outskirts of Swansea.
Barn conversions to form dwellings are a regular feature of our work in the rural areas of Wales.
In these cases the character of the original structure is usually safeguarded to conform to planning department policies.
The character of these conversions is often enhanced by the retention of timber beams and trusses being exposed to view in the room layouts.
This specialised sector has included projects for Sports Buildings and Community Halls; Clubhouses and Residential Care Homes.
The changing rooms designed for the Tenby and District Sports Association involved the use of driven piles to support the building.
This is because the site was a disused refuse tip overlying marshy ground in the estuary of the river Ritec.
The project was completed with the benefit of a grant from the Sportlot lottery funds and it was completed on time and on budget.
We have received three repeat commissions from Brooklands Care Home at Wooden, Near Saundersfoot.
Prior to the advent of CAD freehand pen and ink sketches were often created to illustrate projects.
These have largely been superseded by our current in-house computer design skills.
May we express our sincere thank to you, Simon and the team for your professionalism and for the outstanding changes you have designed for our family home.
Thank you also for the beautiful bouquet of flowers which lent a very special touch to the finalisation of the project.
We will certainly recommend your creative, efficient and courteous services to friends and colleagues.
