The gable end had a poorly constructed chimney stack.
The roof structure has now been re-engineered and we installed a full-height apex window in place of the old chimney stack.
The loft area is now used as a very comfortable home-office with views of the surrounding woodland.
This dark and dingy old kitchen space has been transformed by inserting new enlarged doors and glazing.
The West facing elevation means the evening sun floods into the room creating a pleasant social space for dining.
