Marilize has a wide range of skills and knowledge with a special interest and specialist knowledge in the design of low energy, sustainable timber frame buildings and has recently designed and completed the build a Zero Carbon timber frame 'Passivhause' structure.
Marilize is particularly interested in producing buildings appropriate for the local context, using traditional materials and modern techniques in a contemporary way to produce one off design solutions and buildings that complement our natural and built environments. From our base in Hardwick, 5th Generation Architecture is involved in a variety of projects across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and further afield in South Africa.
