The practice is able to offer design solutions from the traditional to the contemporary. Sustainability underpins the practice's approach to design but we appreciate that more traditional methods of design and construction may be better suited to some projects. Ultimately, you are in control of the process and we will listen to you, taking on board your preferences.

The services that we offer are divided into clear stages, enabling you - the client - the opportunity to pick and choose the level of service appropriate to your needs and budget. The amount of involvement that you have in the project is entirely down to you. We will listen carefully to your needs and translate them into a design that fully meets your requirements.

Founded by Richard Smith BSc Hons, Archetype Central's diverse portfolio includes projects ranging from small residential extensions to one-off new builds in locations across the country and specifically within the south east of England. Having worked for a number of architects & architectural practices, small and large, in England and in Wales, Richard has developed a wealth of experience in design and construction in residential and commercial architecture.
