We are an architectural technology practice based in Chandlers Ford and were established in 2003. We cover Hampshire and work in both the domestic and commercial sectors. Principally we design extensions, loft conversions, internal alterations and new builds for the domestic sector. We also design indoor and outdoor home office space. Our main area of expertise being the design of funeral director's premises along with other varied applications such as signage, change of use, and shop and factory extensions.
My background consists of many years spent in the property and building industry including owning and running a general construction business and a partnership in an estate agency. This varied spectrum has given me a wide range of knowledge and experience in the design process and the needs of my clients when drawing up their plans. The building experience is particularly useful.
I always bear in mind that what I design has to be built, so I take a practical as well as an aesthetic view.

Services
We design extensions, loft conversions, internal alterations and new builds for the domestic sector.
For the commercial sector, our expertise is in designing funeral directors' premises, along with applications like change of signage, change of use, shop and factory extensions.
Our design work is carried out using 3D software.
This makes it easier for you to visualise and understand the proposal we create.
Once the drawings are complete, manipulating the design is quick and easy.
We then sit down with you to make changes and consider plenty of options before completing the design.

We will visit you at home, or the site of the proposed development, to discuss your thoughts in detail and offer advice on your proposed design.
Following that meeting we will prepare a firm priced quotation to do the proposed required drawing.
Once you have accepted our quotation, we will come back and carry out a measured survey of the property so that scaled drawings of the existing property can be produced.
We will talk through your project with you again in more detail, so we have the information we need to prepare the design drawings.

Alongside the work that we do we might need the input of a specialist depending on your project.
Structural Engineer: They will design any steel work support or confirm any other structural support.
Where possible we will identify where their input is required and supply them with a package of drawings to base their calculations on.
Energy Assessor: Where there might be a possibility of heat loss they will provide calculations to prove effectiveness.
Planning Consultant: Usually for new builds or for potentially contentious applications a planning consultant can put together a statement to accompany an application and liaise with planning officers.
