We are an approachable team of architects, passionate about developing quality designs and delivering buildings that leave a lasting legacy. Taking a contemporary approach, whilst drawing on conservation principles, we specialise in the sensitive extension, refurbishment or adaptation of historic buildings and the creation of new pieces of architecture within historic urban environments.
Awards are a winner with clients. It's always nice to receive recognition for what you do from your industry and piers; however, they do have a wider ripple effect that clients can really capitalise on. Architects need to travel to 'site' a lot during the course of a project, which typically ranges from 9-12 months for works to a private house and longer if the project is larger in scale or has special planning or funding requirements.

Services
We start the process by getting an understanding of your requirements and aspirations for the project, together with information about the site.
This enables us to put together a brief and to look at any opportunities and constraints that might exist in relation to this.
We make an initial visit to the site and meet with the client to obtain a detailed understanding of their requirements.
A discussion about priorities, budget and timescale is held at the outset so that we can clearly set out our services and fees.

If you are thinking about starting a new project then please contact us to arrange a no obligation consultation.
When dealing with a new enquiry, we usually ask questions about the location of the site or building i.e.
We usually want to visit the property or site, so that we can get the best possible understanding of the context for example, or the character/condition of an existing building.
We are happy to make an initial site visit without charge.
During the consultation or site visit, we talk about planning considerations, whether you require planning permission or other consents and how likely these are to be gained.

We recognise that it is important to provide a proactive service when delivering commercial projects.
We bring our expertise and experience of design, planning and project management to each project to ensure it runs smoothly.
Often commercial projects require what we call a 'Design Team'.
The team includes cost consultants, engineers and sometimes specialists that produce information to enable the project to move forward.
We can provide expert advice to the Client about hand picking the right team of consultants for their needs.
